I have been a member of the Gateway Chapter of Business Network International for a number of years. Okay 13 to be accurate. In that time I have met many great business people. But let’s face it anyone can make a basket. All you need is a basket and stuff. Wrong. Leonora take great mental notes and keeps them in the Burton database. It is in this database that she knows if she is sending a gift for your business that the ribbons match the color of your business, that a gift for a fifth anniversary is different that a first or a fiftieth. She’ll know the kind of pet they have and what they like or don’t like. She’ll know all of this with you feeling as though she’s asked you 50 questions. These are the reasons that you hire Leonora. Anyone can send you a basket. Very few can send you an experience.
Want a little more? Of course you do. That accent isn’t from the South Bronx. Leonora was born is South Wales and moved to America in search of adventure. She met her husband in Manhattan and has twin boys. She has written many Regency romance novel, 16 of which have been translated into 8 languages. In 1986 she was looking for something else to do and purchase a kitchenware store from a friend. After a lot of hard work and thinking, she has transformed the store into the Country Goose gift store and operates Highland Baskets from the same location.
In 2006 Gift Basket Review magazine recognized Highland Baskets as one of the top 25 gift basket companies. Not bad for someone looking for adventure from South Wales.
Highland Baskets serves individual and corporate clients. Local deliveries are made by her RHWD (Retired Husband Who Delivers) or are shipped throughout the world by UPS and FEDEX.
